Monoprice Graphics Drawing Tablet 10x6 25 12x9
NEW EDIT 1/8/2020 www.monoprice.com/product?p_id… "Search your tablet on their website and find it. below you will see "support files. FIND THE DRIVER THERE" EDITED AS OF 7/19/2018 If the Huion doesn't work, download the latest UC-Logic here -> www.uc-logic.com/downloads/ How to fix pen pressure in SAI for Windows 10 if you have a MONOPRICE Tablet EDIT: Photoshop tutorial for windows 10 pen pressure with a monoprice tablet is now here! Note: KEEP YOUR TABLET UNPLUGGED DURING ALL OF THIS HOW TO GET SAI TO WORK (AKA OPEN AND GENERALLY FUNCTION) IN WINDOWS 10 -> itsjustbeek.tumblr.com/post/12… Try reading over this tutorial first (because that's what I did) If you read that and still have no idea what to do, fear not, for my headache has inspired me to help people prevent the stress and possible breakdowns over this. Step 1. Make sure you have no previous drivers set up. This is INCREDIBLY important. You can plug in your tablet (if it's a new computer) and keep it that way, but there MUST be no drivers. Step 2. Go to this website -> www.uc-logic.com/index.php?lan… IF THE ABOVE DRIVER DOESN'T WORK, PLEASE REFER TO THE BEGINNING OF THIS JOURNAL FOR ALTERNATE DRIVERS! Step 3. Download -> Pen Tablet / For Win 8/7/Vista/Xp Driver (File Size:8.73MB) IMPORTANT NOTE: There is no updated driver for Monoprice for Windows 10, but it should work the same if you download the one said in Step 3. Step 4. When it downloads, open and extract it (if you can) to a specified folder Step 5. Go into the folder of the Driver, RIGHT CLICK on SETUP.exe (or the main application, I don't remember the exact name) Step 6. I'm pretty sure this is what saved my ass so MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THIS CORRECTLY!! Step 7. NOW you click on the SETUP.exe as you regularly would, and it should ask you if you wanna install and you just click OK. Step 8. Let it install, AND REBOOT IT WHEN IT ASKS YOU TO. Close all other programs (it should let you while it installs in the background) and make sure you say YES to rebooting when the message pops up. Step 9. Wait for the system to reboot/restart, sign into your user, open sai, plug your tablet in, make a new canvas, and test out the pressure. If you followed everything down to the point, it SHOULD work. It worked for me, but I don't know if it'll work for anyone else. If you need to uninstall the driver from the UC Logic Website that you installed during any of this: The rest should be easy/understandable. If you have questions I'll try my best to answer them, but like I said, I don't know how long I'll be with Windows 10. Anyway, thank you for reading and I hope this helps somebody because I went through hell and back
linked this newer update direct from monoprices' product page! thanks so much!!
______
It seems like the driver I have on file in a link below may not work for Windows 10
But there is hope:
If you have a Monoprice tablet, you can substitute their drivers with this huion driver -> www.huiontablet.com/huion-h610…
Huion is the company that actually makes the tablets, Monoprice is just the company selling them under a different brand name.
SO BEFORE I BEGIN:
I don't know if I will continue with Windows 10 (mostly because my computer has other issues)
But after sitting here for 5 hours and researching with no results, I hope this will save someone the killer migraine I now have.
(THIS WILL ONLY WORK FOR MONOPRICE I CANNOT HELP YOU WITH OTHER TABLETS I'M VERY SORRY!!!)
Win10 + Adobe CC + Monoprice Tablet Pressure (FIX)
UPDATE 8/3/2019: New 2019 solution has been found! See the new "Step 1.1" below~
UPDATE 5/21/2018: Updated the settings for UHD/4K/high resolution monitors! See Step 5.
So recently I got Adobe CC, and when I tried to do some art in Photoshop, all of a sudden the tablet sensitivity wouldn't work! After searching for hours for fixes that didn't work for me, I finally found two articles that shared the same tip and worked, so I figured I'd pass along the information here! The reason that your tablet pressure may not work in Windows 10 is because Adobe has included a script that allows the Windows Ink program to dictate pressure (for computers that double as tablets with pens). Unfortunately for Monoprice and their un-updated drivers (literally there haven't been any new releases since 2013), we've gotta go around that a bit. But I promise it's (relatively) easy! And if you have any questions, just ask below or check out the other webpages I link to along the w
If it doesn't make sense don't worry, I'll break down the tips/important bits
www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/c…
Note: The reason why it's so important is because if there are ANY other drivers installed, it will likely bug-out and you will be freaking out until you can figure out how to uninstall the driver.
EDIT: it seems like the website is down indefinitely, instead I uploaded the driver to my dropbox below!
www.dropbox.com/s/etoek3mgxygw…
(It's the one at the very top, it has to be a Legacy driver from UC Logic because this is who works with Monoprice)
When you right click, click on PROPERTIES > COMPATIBILITY > CHECK "RUN COMPATIBILITY"
In the drop down section, SELECT WINDOWS 7. JUST DO IT. Then click APPLY and OK (unless if clicking apply closes the window then that's ok too)
> Go to start symbol in corner
> Right click on it
> Programs and Features
> Should be towards the bottom of installed programs, just click right and it'll say Uninstall/change (same thing)
